Car rental franchise operation Cargini has opened two new car rental stations in Larnaca and Paphos on the eastern Mediterranean island of Cyprus.

This strategic expansion follows Cargini’s recent launch in Morocco and marks another step in its growth, bringing the total number of locations to more than 35 worldwide.

The new stations are designed to provide tourists and local residents with convenient access to Cargini’s fleet of modern and eco-friendly vehicles. The stations offer a wide range of vehicles from compact cars to luxury models.

“Our expansion into Larnaca and Paphos demonstrates our dedication to meeting the growing demand for high-quality, reliable car rental options,” said Vladimir Banovic, CEO of Future Transport International Ltd., in a June 18 news release. “We are confident that our new locations will enhance the travel experience for visitors and residents alike.”

Cargini’s move into Cyprus comes as the demand for flexible and reliable transportation solutions is increasing. The company aims to appeal to travelers worldwide with its booking platform, competitive pricing, and customer service.

According to Encyclopedia Britannica: Cyprus lies about 40 miles south of Turkey, 60 miles west of Syria, and 480 miles southeast of mainland Greece. Its maximum length, from Cape Arnauti in the west to Cape Apostolos Andreas at the end of the northeastern peninsula, is 140 miles; the maximum north-south extent is 60 miles. It is the third largest Mediterranean island, after Sicily and Sardinia. The independent Republic of Cyprus and member of the European Union is partitioned between the northern third run by a Turkish Cypriot government and the southern two-thirds run by the internationally-recognized government led by Greek Cypriots, according to the BBC.
